Senior Quantity Surveyor Pre & Post Contracts
Responsibilities:
- Review, evaluate and assess tender documents received from various Clients.
- Direct in‐charge for sourcing out of subcontract and supply quotations. Gather relevant tender documents
(BOQ, Specs & drawings) per Trade and send to suppliers/subcontractors for quotations.
- Handles communication with Client sending tender clarifications, inquiries and request for site visit and attend
matters concerning site inspections.
- Attending Site visits.
- Coordinate with Accounts Department regarding the Tender bond requirements and submission.
- Support and execute quantity take‐off process.
- Formulation and checking of Bill of Quantities.
- Derivation, assessment and evaluation of the direct plant, labor, materials, subcontractors and suppliers costs for the
required work items in the tender. Support and execute the pricing/costing of Bill of Quantities.
- Coordinate to get information from the Client and Main Contractor and follow up on RFI and queries.
- Assess and evaluate the Site Overhead / Preliminary costs.
- Prepare Project cash Flow with breakdown on labor, materials and plants and according to each trade in the
scopes of work.
- Prepare Monthly Interim Certificates and submit on time every month to client. Carry out evaluation and make sure
claim approved as target in project cash flow.
- Prepare and update Job Cost Report including project expenses and petty cash expenses.
- Monitor Direct & Indirect Expenses and update every month to present to PM.
- Evaluate subcontractors’ progress claim and invoices to make sure approved by progress of work and not more than
amount approved by Client.
- Carry out site measurement and site evaluation for Variation Order Work. Prepare and submit CVI and VO
documentation to Client and make sure VO’s are approved before carry out the works.
- Evaluate subcontractor’s Variation Order Work and identify scope of addition and omission. Prepare letter and
documentation for application of CPC.
- Finalize outstanding claim, VO and prepare Final Account. Approach Client and Main Contractors to get approval
as per Target Profit.
- Arrange and coordinate works during DLP.
- reviewing tender package and tender contracts-generally in general, commercial, technical and financial terms
request quotation from subcon and supplier, for items for budget costing preparation.
- Arrange and confirm drawings reference from Design Department for tender submission
request quotation, comparison quotation from subcon and supplier and propose to select subcon/supplier to

- Attending site meeting monthly to update Claim Report.
- Evaluate and prepare any Variation Order works.
- Control and make sure project cost within the estimation cost/Contract Sum
update and monitor Daily Site Report and Monthly Stock Balance – during post-completion
